Spurling Kerrison Rongeurs

Wiggins Medical Spurling Kerrison Rongeurs are designed for decompression work where cutting power and endurance matter. The generously sized Spurling handle multiplies leverage and spreads closing force across the palm, so bone can be taken in fewer bites with less hand fatigue over long or multilevel cases.

A 16 mm bite length — among the longest available — lets each pass remove a larger segment of lamina, reducing instrument exchanges during laminectomy. In foraminotomy, the predictable jaw engagement and tactile feedback support careful enlargement of the neural foramen adjacent to neural structures.
