EB MED CO was founded on a straightforward observation: Canadian hospitals and surgical centres
were sourcing excellent instruments from abroad, and paying for it in customs delays, currency
swings, and support calls placed into another time zone.
We exist to close that gap. EB MED CO is Canadian-owned and Canadian-operated, and we proudly
distribute established surgical instrument manufacturers — including ACE Medical, Wiggins Medical,
and Ebner — to facilities from Victoria to St. John’s and north into the territories.
What we supply
Our catalogue spans the instrument families Canadian operating rooms use every day:
- Bipolar forceps — bayonet, straight, angled, reverse-action, and MIS patterns, with reusable cables

How we work
We do not publish prices, because instrument pricing depends on configuration, quantity, and
your facility’s purchasing arrangements. Instead, send us what you need — catalogue numbers if you
have them, or simply a description of the procedure — and we will respond with pricing,
availability, and a realistic delivery timeline, usually within one business day.
Quotes are issued in Canadian dollars. Instruments ship to your facility with tracked Canadian
delivery. There are no border surprises for your finance team to absorb.
Regulatory standing
EB MED CO, INC. holds Health Canada Medical Device Establishment Licence No. 34684
(Company ID 195558), issued under the Medical Devices Regulations of the
Food and Drugs Act. The licence authorises us to import Class I and Class II
medical devices into Canada.
As a condition of that licence we maintain documented procedures for distribution records,
complaint handling, recalls, incident reporting, serious risk of injury to human health,
servicing, corrective action, installation, and the handling, storage and delivery of
medical devices.
