ACE Medical Rotating Kerrison Rongeurs

The ACE Medical Rotating Kerrison Rongeur, offered in the Sara model, gives spine surgeons on-demand angulation without swapping instruments. Built around a modular two-part handle and shaft, the rongeur rotates through seven fixed positions in 45-degree steps, so the footplate can be re-oriented mid-case while bone removal stays controlled and predictable.

Rotation That Keeps the Case Moving

A dedicated load and unload position at the 45-degree mark makes shaft exchanges quick for the scrub team, and the indexed increments hold their setting firmly during each bite. This is particularly useful in endoscopic and skull base work, including transsphenoidal approaches, where re-angling a conventional Kerrison would interrupt the flow of the procedure.
