The Wiggins Medical MIS Suction Retractor folds two jobs into a single bayonet-style instrument: it holds dura or nerve roots gently aside while its integrated lumen aspirates blood and irrigation fluid from the same point of contact. In tubular and other minimally invasive corridors — where a second instrument often will not fit — this pairing keeps the field continuously clear without extra exchanges.

The bayonet offset places the surgeon’s hand below the sightline, and a textured ergonomic handle governs suction while sustaining a steady retraction force. Beyond MIS spine and discectomy, the instrument earns a place in neurosurgical, ENT, skull base, microvascular, and reconstructive workflows.

Constructed of German stainless steel, it stands up to repeated reprocessing; the internal suction channel is designed to resist clogging and remain accessible for cleaning, and the polished exterior simplifies disinfection. It is fully autoclavable at 134°C (273°F).
