Taylor TC Forceps pair a bayonet-style shaft with tungsten carbide jaw inserts to solve two problems at once in deep or narrow operative fields: the offset profile keeps the surgeon’s hand clear of the line of sight, while the carbide surfaces grip needles, sutures and tissue firmly without slipping. Because tungsten carbide holds its texture far longer than plain steel, the jaws do not require the constant re-sharpening a conventional instrument would.

The forceps are used across spine surgery, neurosurgery, and ENT and ophthalmic procedures for needle handling, suture management and controlled tissue manipulation. A multi-stage ratchet lets the operator set and hold grip pressure precisely.
