The curved shaft is designed for cervical and lumbar procedures where a straight Kerrison cannot achieve the working angle or reach the target anatomy safely.

Each rongeur carries an 8 inch working length and can be specified with a thin or ultra-thin footplate, letting the surgeon match the footplate profile to the tightness of the corridor. The line spans six curve geometries, from a lesser curve for modest offset to a standard curve for maximum reach, including twisted left and right variants and a short-footplate option; the breadth of curve choices exceeds what other curved Kerrison manufacturers offer.
