Liposuction Puncture Awl

The ACE Medical Liposuction Puncture Awl establishes clean, repeatable access ports for cannulas and infiltration needles. Because the entry point sets the tone for the whole procedure, an accurate puncture limits skin tearing, keeps scarring minimal, and lets the cannula pass through subcutaneous tissue with far less resistance, benefits felt across body contouring, autologous fat transfer, and tumescent infiltration.

The awl is machined from high-grade stainless steel with a sharp, tapered tip and a weighted, ergonomic handle. That mass and grip give the surgeon stable, controlled force even through tough fibrous tissue, and unlike disposable needles that bend or dull, the reusable awl keeps its geometry through repeated autoclave cycles.

Three diameters match the awl to the cannula in use, from fine facial infiltration cannulas up to large-bore instruments for high-volume abdominal work. Sizing the entry correctly also creates a snug seal around the cannula, which helps hold tumescent pressure and limits fluid leakage. The instrument works with all standard liposuction cannulas and Toomey syringe systems, replacing improvised entry tools and shortening the setup phase of each case.
