Baxter Suction Canisters and Liners

The ACE Medical line of Baxter Suction Canisters and Liners manages large aspirate volumes in high-vacuum liposuction while keeping both staff and equipment isolated from contamination. The system follows the proven two-part architecture: a rigid outer canister creates the vacuum chamber, and a disposable inner liner captures the fluid.

The reusable canister is moulded from clear, impact-resistant polycarbonate with bold volume graduations, so the surgeon or anaesthesia provider can track fluid loss at a glance throughout the case. It tolerates repeated sterilization and resists breakage in daily use. The single-use polyethylene liner drops into the canister to collect fat and tumescent fluid; when the case ends or the bag fills, its sealing lid permits fast, contained disposal of biohazardous waste — no scrubbing of the hard jar required.

Every liner lid incorporates a hydrophobic filter and automatic shut-off valve. If fluid reaches the top of the bag or foam approaches the port, suction stops on its own, keeping aspirate out of the vacuum lines and pump motor and averting expensive equipment damage.
