The Adson Single Action Rongeur is a compact bone-cutting instrument intended for the measured removal of small bone fragments and adherent soft tissue in spine and neurosurgical fields. A single-action hinge drives finely honed, cup-shaped jaws, giving the surgeon direct control and easy manoeuvring where the working space is limited.

Typical applications include laminectomy, foraminotomy, and laminoplasty, as well as anterior cervical discectomy, cranial procedures, and selected ENT and orthopaedic bone work. Forged from German stainless steel, the instrument cuts smoothly case after case, and its balanced, ergonomic build keeps hand fatigue to a minimum during detailed cervical, thoracic, and cranial dissection.
