The Woodson Filling Dissector is a compact, two-ended workhorse for spinal, cranial, and ENT procedures. One end carries a flat, paddle-style tip and the other a tapered blade, letting the surgeon elevate, dissect, and pack within confined anatomy while sparing the surrounding tissue.

The pattern traces its lineage to Dr. E.W. Woodson, whose original dental instrument was patented in 1880, and the modern surgical version has found broad use in neurosurgery, ENT, and microvascular work. A knurled, textured handle keeps the instrument steady in a gloved hand, and the corrosion-resistant German stainless steel construction is fully autoclavable — a durable, economical addition to laminectomy and ACDF trays.
