These bayonet bipolar forceps with angled-up tips are built for procedures where the operative corridor is deep, narrow, or partially obscured. The bayonet shaft offsets the surgeon’s hand from the line of sight, and the 45-degree upward tip angle reaches structures that straight instruments cannot, making the forceps well suited to deep cranial exposure, skull-base dissection, and coagulation near fragile vasculature.

The working tips are solid silver, chosen for its superior conductivity and even heat dispersion. In practice this means less charring and tissue sticking during coagulation, and tips that hold their surface finish across hundreds of reprocessing cycles. An insulated, contoured orange handle keeps the instrument light in the hand and delivers fine tactile feedback through long microsurgical cases.

Beyond neurosurgery, the forceps perform well in ENT, vascular dissection, reconstructive microsurgery, and minimally invasive cranial approaches. Each instrument is manufactured in Southern Germany, is fully reusable, and is validated to withstand 250 or more autoclave cycles without loss of performance.
