Tantalizing SS Rectangle ID Tag Permanent Identification

The Rectangle ID Tag gives sterile processing departments a permanent, hygienic way to identify trays, baskets, and instrument sets, replacing adhesive tape labels that leave residue, gather bioburden, and eventually fade or fall off. Made from high-grade stainless steel, the tag is built to go through repeated sterilization cycles without losing legibility.

Two sizes are available, 90 x 30mm and 82 x 40mm, giving departments a choice of marking surface depending on how much information needs to appear on the tag. Each tag can be permanently laser-marked with plain text or alphanumeric codes, Barcode 39 or Barcode 128, a 2D data matrix code, or a QR code, or it can be supplied unmarked for in-house customization. Marked tags integrate with hospital inventory-tracking software, supporting tray traceability and reprocessing compliance.

Tags attach to trays or baskets using either a stainless steel key ring or a stainless steel cable, both autoclavable and corrosion-resistant. ACE Medical also offers a proprietary system for removing old adhesive tape residue, helping departments transition away from tape-based labeling and its associated cleaning burden.
