Standard orthopaedic spine instruments are too coarse for dura mater. The instruments in this kit are made from premium German stainless steel for the tactile feedback and balance that disposable alternatives cannot match. The Castroviejo-style needle holder uses a streamlined locking design suited to small-calibre needles (typically 5-0 or 6-0) in deep operative fields; the micro needle holder carries a fine diamond-dusted tip for 4-0 to 6-0 sutures. Ultra-fine-toothed micro forceps grasp dural edges without tearing them, with bayonet-offset options that keep hands clear of the microscope view, and sharp-pointed scissors cut suture cleanly at depth. Everything is housed in a graphic sterilization case that shields the delicate tips during autoclaving and tells staff at a glance that the kit is ready.
