A distinctive 90° bayonet configuration positions the surgeon’s hand well below the microscope’s optical path, so the operative corridor stays visible even in confined exposures such as eyebrow craniotomies, tubular ports, and deep intracranial approaches.
The tines converge in parallel, letting the forceps pass cleanly through a narrow channel while the fine tips deliver bipolar coagulation precisely at the target. Solid silver, non-stick tip construction helps limit char adhesion during repeated coagulation. These forceps are frequently used alongside the Isabella Tumor Forceps for tumour resection and for evacuation of intracerebral haemorrhage (ICH), and they are equally suited to ventricular procedures.
EB MED CO supplies the full MIS Bipolar Forceps range to Canadian hospitals and neurosurgical programs.
