Soft-Form AL-B Aluminum Nasal Splint

The Soft-Form AL-B Aluminum Nasal Splint is an external, non-padded splint that provides firm, rigid stabilization of the nose during the post-operative healing period. It is used routinely after rhinoplasty, septoplasty, and nasal fracture repair to help hold the nasal bones in their corrected position. Because it is aluminum rather than a padded design, it delivers direct rigid support rather than cushioned support, which surgeons favour in cases involving osteotomies, nasal bone realignment, or trauma where firmer external immobilization is called for.

The splint supports accurate bone alignment following osteotomy or bridge reshaping in rhinoplasty, helps protect reduced nasal bones from accidental displacement after fracture repair, and provides the added structural control often needed in reconstructive or revision nasal surgery, where anatomy has already been altered.
